About Sara Vian

Sara Vian is a Great British singer/songwriter with English and Iraqi roots, living on the edge of the independent market town of Frome in Somerset just a cycle ride away from sprawling wildlands and elegant estates!

On Record Store Day 2015, Sara released a simple raw folk-blues debut EP, produced by Will Angeloro on Soaring Magpie Records, which earned the title of “fastest selling local independent artist” at  her local independent record store

A year later, also on Record Store Day, Sara went on to release her debut album, “Wild, Free and Beautiful”, which had more of a cinematic production with elements of occasional trip-hop and country influences.

This was celebrated with an extravaganza at the Assembly Rooms in Frome with full band and live studio audience, broadcast on Frome FM.  And then followed with a tour of Mayenne in France.

In 2017, Sara's debut album was re-released as “Beautiful Soul” (title track) in time for a trip to East Coast America where she met Jon Bon Jovi.

Sara also hosts the Frome (and beyond!) Music Industry Network, has performed with Peewee Ellis and supported Martha Tilston.  She also co-writes music reviews at Music Eye and helps people get on passionate purpose at www.gracefulsolutions.co.uk.
