Zenith Nadir - UK, Mexico and beyond... ZENITH NADIR is an eclectic mix of electronic fusion music with Latin and European rhythms, a combination of electric violin, keyboards, bass guitar, lead singer and programming, Zenith Nadir will have you dancing on your feet.

The Band:
ZENITH NADIR (Alex de la Rosa) - Lead Singer: He was born in Mexico City, from the world of the gods, he's a hybrid, a two headed dragon with different animal parts like the royal eagle, the snake, the jaguar and the black panther. His mission on earth, to bring love, awareness, peace, harmony: balance. A sensual mystic being in his poems and lyrics, extroverted, playful and noble like a child.
Selina Marshall (Aithne) - Violin, Harmonica, Backing vocals: Selina was born in Hull, East Yorkshire and grew up in Beverley, from the world of the gods to earth, she's a little fire. She has the heart, soul and strength of a white tiger. Her noble heart and humanity keeps the two headed dragon and others in equilibrium.
Emmanuel - Keyboards, Bass Guitar, Programming: Emmanuel was born in Mexico City, his name means "to be with God", from the world of the gods to earth, he's a positive jaguar, playful in music, he falls in love easily, he likes the good life, he's just and fair, childlike, brave and protected by the sun...

About us:
Widely considered as one of the most creative, futuristic and innovative bands in the independent scene in Mexico, the band combines Latin rhythms and electronic music - a fusion of different styles and genres to create a genuinely unique sound and experience!! We have toured and sold our music in countries right across South America, Europe and beyond and released 3 very successful albums independently with sales well into the hundreds of thousands!

The UK connection:
Violinist Selina Marshall is from the UK, and while on a year abroad in Mexico City met Alex while he was promoting music. After working together for a few years promoting bands and organising events, Alex asked Selina if she wanted to start the band Zenith Nadir. They invited Emmanuel to join them, making this dynamic futuristic musical trio which is Zenith Nadir. Alex writes the lyrics to their songs and brings his ideas about the music and style ...and then each song comes alive!
