About Wave Three

My name is Vincent. I’m a 13-year-old aspiring electronic musician with a passion for experimenting and pushing both digital and analogue recording and production techniques. I record under the name Wave Three.
  A little bit of info about myself, I started playing violin at age 5, began experimenting with electronic recording and production at age 8, I took up guitar at 10 and realized that my heart is in electronic music.
  Many subjects influence me, Music: everything from Techno to blues. Sci-fi (mainly dystopian/hard). Technology: its influence on both society and the recording and production of music. Film and filmmaking: everything from Fritz Lang’s Metropolis to Hitchcock’s the birds. I really enjoy reading about recording and production, both it’s history and the techniques and equipment used.
  As I got more into recording and producing my own music I set myself a goal to release a piece of music before the age of 14.
In order to achieve this, I set up some equipment in my bedroom. This consisted mainly of old and borrowed gear. With this I recorded and released my first track: Here’s a link, I hope you like it:

My next goal is to record a full album by the age of 16.In order to do this I need to expand on the limited equipment I have.
