Sofia Vaina is a musician - (Music Composer-Lyricist, Songwriter / Singer, Orchestration, Performer, Pianist, Violinist). She studied '' Special Harmony '' and '' Special Counterpoint '' at the Municipal Conservatory of Veria
with musician and writer Dimitris Athanasiadis (former director of the Macedonian Conservatory of Thessaloniki).
He also studied piano at the Municipal Conservatory of Veria with the piano teacher Popi Hatzidimou-Theofanous and violin in the Modern Conservatory of Thessaloniki with the professor of violin Mikis Michaelidis (formerly director of the Thessaloniki State Orchestra) and she participated in the Thessaloniki Chamber Music Choir in the Modern Conservatory of Thessaloniki with the maestro Anastasia Koumpaki. She completed jazz song lessons with the singer and pianist Nikos Pitsikas.
After successful exams at the Ministry of Education in Greece, she worked as a High School Teacher of music.In the last years she writes lyrics, music, she orchestrates and she sings professionally (Singer in music bands / live).
She has completed her first official personal music album (CD-Music Composition, Lyrics, Orchestration, Singing by Sofia Vaina).

My dream is to move to the USA and work there as a musician, doing what I love, creating music. Could you support the application for an immigration visa for people with extraordinary ability? If you believe that my creation deserves the opportunity to become even better...
To have a chance of getting my visa approved I will need to provide awards from my participation in music competitions. I have some, but they are not enough.
In the links below you will see competitions that accepted me in the first round of competitions which are free, but I did not continue to the final round because I did not have that opportunity.
