A vocalist, songwriter and No. 1 several times on the ReverbNation Charts for Gospel artistes in Manchester, England, Seiyéfa’s early experience in music began from the age of about 7 in her local church children’s choir, “I assisted and eventually led the group in worship and all through my teenage years, I was involved in choirs, wherever I could sing basically” She served as a young worship minister travelling on Church-planting missions with her family and leads worship in her local Church. Her latest EP ‘IGNITE 0.5’ released in 2013 followed the earlier singles OUR GOD IS HERE and WHO WILL GO, both with good reviews. It is a delivery which Seiyéfa hopes will be a tool for encouragement, worship and challenge.
Seiyéfa put her hand to writing at the age of 13 which brought about her first single OVER. It is a song which carries the message of the purpose for her music which is simply to be ‘a resounding voice of encouragement’. Compared to music greats such as Nina Simone, Lalah Hathaway, Cece Winans and Yolanda Adams, Seiyefa has a beautiful vocal blend of smooth tones and power in her delivery. She has gone on to minister at private, corporate and Church events, at venues such as Manchester & Southwark Cathedrals as well as the annual An Evening with Seiyefa (EWS) event which holds on December 6th at the beautiful 5 Star, Midland Q Hotel in Manchester, England.
Seiyéfa holds an MSc in Business Management and is a member of the Chartered Management Institute. She continues to work alongside the ministry she has been called to.
