Liz Clarke Moffatt is a Co Armagh based singer/songwriter and worship leader mainly in the area of Celtic/Contemporary Christian music. She grew up in Belfast, the only girl in a family with three older brothers. Although Liz trained as a nurse, she knew from an early age that singing was what she wanted to do. After becoming a Christian she began to write and sing worship songs from the heart. Liz was honoured to lead worship in her local Church for a number of years.
Since the release of her 2010 album, 'Path Of Dreams', as well as on-going live gigs in the UK and USA, she has also had a 6 month residency in the UK touring theatre production, 'Celtic Dream'.
Liz Has traveled widely to sing, and demand for live performances, has seen Liz complete two USA tours in the last three years, as well as three Christmas tours in the UK..
Liz is also in demand in her native Northern Ireland to sing at festivals and concerts.She has had a number of songs published and released on the Authentic, and Kingsway labels.
Liz was presented with a Radio Mike award at the UKCMA Event 2010, for her contribution to Christian music. This was presented to her by George Hamilton 1V, Liz was also awarded folk artist 2011 by UKCMA.
Liz has recently been interviewed by the well known DJ, George Jones on Downtown Radio, Northern Ireland. They are now playing her song, 'A Mother's Love', written by Liz, in memory of her mother who passed away from cancer. The song is receiving great feedback. Liz's mum was always a great source of encouragement throughout her career.
Liz has many more songs to record and hopes to produce another album with the help of Rocketfuel in the near future.
