Kirsten Alting is an acclaimed singer-songwriter known for her powerful storytelling and unique blend of gospel, country, bluegrass, and Irish folk influences. Her music reflects resilience, faith, and hope, offering encouragement to listeners around the world.
In 2014, Kirsten released her debut album, Praise His Name. The single Unlikelies (feat. Gordon Mote) hit number one on the American gospel charts, earning her fan-favourite awards, a nomination for the Top 10 Best Upcoming Artists, and a Silver Dove nomination.
Kirsten’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. After the birth of her youngest child, she faced a life-threatening connective tissue disorder that left her bedridden and silenced her voice. Against all odds, her health improved, and her voice returned stronger than ever—a testament to her resilience and faith.
Today, accompanied by her servicedog, Kirsten is on a mission to bring hope to others through her music. Whether overcoming a chronic illness, disability, or hardship, her message is clear: no obstacle is too great to overcome.
Her latest project, Tell It Like It Is, is a reflection of her journey. Collaborating with world-class musicians, Kirsten is crafting an album that blends stirring ballads and uplifting anthems to inspire and connect with people worldwide.
Through her music, Kirsten continues to touch hearts and prove that, even in the darkest moments, there is always a way to rise.
