ROADS is a Devon-based acoustic duo made up of Danny Rogers and Rosa Trivett. They play a range of modern covers in our own Pop/Folk style.
The Duo formed in July 2014 after meeting at a National Singing Competition during the Finals. The two had an instant musical connection from the blend of voices and after some time, decided to start playing together. Since then they have performed at various venues, including, local pubs, charity events, weddings and most recently, reaching the finals of Singing Competition, Open Mic UK.
Inspired by similar artists, the Duo discovered they had the same musical vision and have formed a song writing partnership, writing about everyday inspirations together. They are inspired by Ed Sheeran, Mumford and Sons, and James Bay.
Amongst reaching the Semi-Finals of National competition, Teenstar, as soloists. Roads joined 'voices', and went on to achieve the Semi-Finals of Open Mic UK in December 2014. Since then, the duo have been adding new ideas to their set list, and writing new material.
