Vulnerable, honest, ethereal: This is the music of Speak, Brother.
The Rugby-based quartet have been compared to Athlete, Ben Howard and The Swell Season, and their music has earned them airplay across the UK and beyond. They have appeared on stages from folk clubs to festivals including The Great Escape and Wychwood Festival, and Greenbelt whilst earning an honourable mention at the International Songwriters' Competition final thanks to acclaimed single Dry Bones.
Boasting a powerful sound and full arrangements, the quartet layer lush vocal harmonies over their rustic instrumentation. With heartfelt lyrical storytelling, driving melodies and passionate performance, Speak, Brother are a band to watch.
In March 2016 the band released their second successful EP 'Light Runs After Us' featuring singles Slow to Now and Lions Roar. The latter was adopted by their hometown of Rugby as it's official song for the Rugby World Cup, includes the voices of 100's of local school children which led to the song being played at the Ricoh Arena with support from Wasps RFC and reached to #14 in iTunes charts.
After a successful crowd-funding campaign to finish the EP, the band are now taking it to living rooms and back gardens around the country. In addition to festivals and cafes, the band have started a Tour of Homes called #NoPlaceLikeHome
