About Esther Sardar

Esther Sardar is a Bristol-based, Christian singer, songwriter and musician. Known for her ability to unite her voice and rhythm guitar skills, she continually provides a captivating and anointed worship experience.  Her music has a distinct indie rock style with folk and pop influences.

Through the songs she writes, Esther’s purpose is to inspire listeners to pursue Jesus in a deeper way by revealing the heart of God through music and song. People from all walks of life and ages have been impacted by her passion and energy on stage.

A budding musician and songwriter from early on, Esther was handed her first guitar in her junior years and she started to write songs from Bible scriptures that had inspired her. Although she was never professionally trained on the guitar, she learned to play by ear. As a teenager, she performed her songs in school talent shows and youth events. Esther's guitar and vocal skills developed further when she began ministering in her local church as part of their worship team. Playing gospel music also enhanced her individual skills as well as her ability to perform as part of a band.

To date, Esther has contributed to Carmel Music's first two albums, ‘Beautiful Praise’ and ‘A God Thing’, as a songwriter and studio recording artist. She was a lead vocalist, backing vocalist and an acoustic guitarist. Her highlights were writing and performing ‘My All in All’ (A God Thing), plus co-writing ‘Jesus in My Life’ (Beautiful Praise) and ‘You Make Me New’ (A God Thing). Esther was also the studio session acoustic guitarist for Carmel Music's single, 'A God Thing Remix'.

As Esther writes songs from her own experiences, she is keenly aware that she doesn’t have all the answers. But her intention is to always direct her audience to the One who does: Jesus. Every song reveals an attribute of God that she has personally discovered in pursuing a relationship with Him.

As a worship leader at Carmel City Church, Esther continues to minister to local believers at weekend services and conferences throughout the year. She is currently working towards recording her debut album.
